Brazil 2.0

It was definitely the combination of this amazing country and the great people who invited us there, that made our trip so special.
And to be fair, it’s hard to call Brazil “a country”, as in reality it’s more of a “continent” than anything else. On my first trip there I got to see the North East: Fortaleza, Teresina, São Luis, Belem, and Brazilia. This time, together with Sebastian, we went to Saõ Paulo and Florianopolis, which btw., in my book, is what paradise must look like!

When we were preparing to go back home, bacl to Berlin, I finally understood the meaning of saudade as it set in at the airport. There is no equivalent to this word in English or German, but if you ever go to Brazil you’ll know what it feels like.
The biggest thank you goes out to our friends Holger Beier, Patricia Cerqueira and their two beautiful children Ben and Liu. You treated us like family and introduced us to all your friends. You made us feel welcome every single second of our stay, and that means a lot to us! We had such a great time and in just 6 days we charged up our batteries for the next 60! At least!

Florianopolis has a huge place in our hearts and we’ll definitely come back one day.
