My friends Yann, Fernanda and their little son Arthur live on a bus in Brittany – France, right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. They literally created their own little paradise in the middle of nowhere. Every summer, when I’m in France, I visit them with my Brother, his wife and their kids. This year Yann decided to paint his bus and we were asked to participate in the session. In the beginning it was a bit difficult for me to find my groove because there was no set plan and everybody just started to paint things randomly. After watching this beautiful chaos I grabbed my little niece and nephew – Pina and Miró – and we started to vibe and paint together. Eventually, my brother joined us and we had so much fun together that we brought out flashlights so that we could continue painting after sundown. The finished bus looks like the ultimate hippie mobile which perfectly reflects the vibe of my extended family. I really love the innocence of this piece, so I decided to share it here.
